Which do you use, and what are the best stations you've found?

I use Pandora, and mostly listen to the Radiohead station, or the 90's alternative station.

    Pandora pisses me off.
  9. Duckman

Duckman Chieftain is probably my favorite. I think they tailor to your music tastes better than most of the services i've come across. I use Slacker too when listening to music on my phone. Don't really like Pandora for whatever reason.

I feel like Pandora is trying to push obscure bands to get you to buy their music, rather than just playing what you actually want to hear.

I really like Pandora, the more I fine tune it by thumbs upping and downing stuff, the more it gets pretty much right on what i want. have several stations of different styles pretty well tailored to what i want.

Could be both. Pandora has put me onto some good obscure bands when I use my Passion Pit station.

I will acknowledge that Pandora is better for electronic music.

You know, maybe I am just too picky and conservative in my music tastes.

If you don't like you don't like it. I disliked Pandora when it first came out. I thought the algorithm was bad; it never gave me songs I wanted. I came back to it last year and it started giving me good songs. But then whether I liked the songs it gave me depended a great deal on the band or song that I gave it initially. With some bands/songs, it goes off in a direction I don't like, but I found a couple that really narrowly tailored into a sound that I dig, so I'll give it props for that.

Yup. Lots of different styles. GOA-Psy and Hardcore once were my favorite, but I find myself in Vocal more often these days.
