CJ Fayton was highly overrated. I pulled his flag once in intramurals

I think Tony Brown was the most overrated of all.

Anyone that watched the rest of the 2002 wide receivers after Kelley Washington went down.

I never thought he was anything other than average. It seemed like he had half his catches against MTSU and Wyoming to start the year

Had that game against LSU. Other than that, he was just a good college receiver. IMO

There was a stretch where he got every RedZone look.

Who was better: Bret Smith or Jayson Swain?

    Go...

I was a Bret Smith fan. His TD catch at Ole Miss was awesome and shut up the ignorant **** sitting behind me.

Wasn't he the one who returned an onside kick for a touchdown at South Carolina?

Also had that sweet spinning grab for 6 against Florida, '04 I think.

Yes. He was a half asser though. The guy probably was the best wide receiver on the roster when he was here, but he never put in the work to be great.

Ainge still jokes about how Smith didn't care unless they were in the red zone because he just "caught touchdowns"

Swain in between the 20s, Smith inside the 20. Bret Smith always seemed to make the superman catches, and drop the easy ones.

Just looked at their stats. Smith caught fewer TDs than I thought, but still, Swain had 77 catches in his career and only managed 4 TDs, while Bret Smith had 9 on 44 catches. Neither of them ever topped 100 yards in a game, apparently.
