234 sounds like a linebacker or TE to me.

If he can block he would be a killer TE with his 4.5 forty speed.

Can't waste this type of talent at TE.

This is college, not the NFL. I don't trust the coaches and college QBs to fully utilize the TE in most cases.. so if he's just an awesome athlete that is a tweener you put him somewhere else to have a bigger impact.

Stanford's TEs have been a waste for several years now. Oh, and FSU with that ****ing beast they have at TE. Yeah, TE's suck ass.

Congratulations on naming two outliers - in pro style offenses as well. He will be far better utilized at another position under Butch - let him make the move to TE on Sundays.

Oregon uses their tight ends well.

Washington uses Sefarian-Jenkins like a wr

    USC use tes a lot

Butch uses tight ends a lot in his offense. They were shit this year.

Helm will be a huge part of the passing game next season

This guy is a way better athlete than Helm - and Helm still won't get as many targets as our WRs and RBs will get. This kid is an elite athlete and needs to be put somewhere he will get the most touches or on defense. I'm not a fan of putting one of the teams best athletes at TE unless you're moving him all over the field and just calling him a "TE".

Yet none of the guys you listed have near the impact that some of the elite RBs/WRs/LBs have. He's a 5 star talent. I'd rather him be at one of the other 3 positions any day in the college level - even if he is best suited for TE on Sundays.
