If I never heard another Jimmy Buffett song I would be completely fine.

I find it odd he elicits such a love/hate thing. Why do the people that hate his music hate it?

I am very apathetic towards his music myself. I'd never buy an album. I also would not turn him off if he came on the radio though.

Ya know, a change in latitude might just be the thing to change your attitute. Things just don't seem quite the same.

Just enjoy Jimmy and laugh. Otherwise, you could go insane.

Yep...Buffet is like the Geateful Dead or Widespread panic...if you aren’t there to see it, there isn’t much value to it. The shows are fun.

They are songwriting giants. Ripple, Friend of the Devil, Sugar Magnolia, etc. etc. I generally prefer covers over them singing their originals, tbh. But I will not minimize their contribution.

The Grateful Dead is what would result if Jimmy Buffet impregnated the Partridge Family.

    They suck balls, too.

Who do you listen to? What genre, artist.

Dont have a lot to talk about until Butch Jones is gone.

Lazy and aging pot-smoking beach music.

I have a diverse and eclectic taste in music - bluegrass, rap, r&b, indie folk, country, classic rock, instrumental, etc.

I went walking today and heard each of these on a playlist.

    My go-to is usually Sturgill.

    I like Sturgill a lot.

My playlist is all over the place as well. My go to's are Deer Tick, Blitzen Trapper and Country Devils. Spotify Discover feature is one of the best things ever invented.

Love Nirvana Unplugged, one of my favorite albums.

Also have a soft spot for 70s music, I blame my parents.

Turtles all the Way Down is an amazing sounding song. Message is messed up (IMO), but it is great music.

I've never heard of any of those. I'm no standard, and they may be awesome. I'll check them out on your recommendation.
