Jojo Kemp - Yahoo! Sports Elder did an in home visit last night with this kid. Was recruited by Cincy as well. Big time recruit. Hopefully we hear about an official visit soon.
JoJo Kemp - Highlight Videos, Schedule & Roster - Hudl I am no expert but this kid is my favorite of RBs we are after. Might want him more then Green it is close. His legs are huge think Pead or Michael Turner. He is not that small likely a 200lb back in college. Runs a sub 4.4.
Nike combine measured him at 5-11 not sure if it matters. He had a bad day at that combine running 4.6. At another event he ran a 4.37 which seems more legit looking at his film. Nebraska wants him. Many others want him.
He was 5-8 as sophomore listed that way on some sites. I read some boards he is legit 5-10/11 now. And is around 190. His issue is speed based basically on one combine. UF wanted him early on but decided he was too slow. I am thinking he just had a bad day at combine. Obviously this is just my opinion. I would be happy if we get Green, Barber, Kamara, Collins or Kemp. All the others seem like meh to me.
Tennessee is very much in the mix, but Graham can't take all the credit. One of Graham's running backs has been working Kemp hard to find his way to Rocky Top next season. "I know a lot because my cousin Marlin Lane plays there," Kemp said. "He tells me all about Tennessee and he is trying to get me to come up there with him. He's down here right now for break and I'm sure we will talk again about Tennessee. They have a lot to offer." The sunshine state native plans on taking a trip to Big Orange Country in January. It will be the first time he's been to Tennessee, but he feels like he already knows the school. It's just another opportunity to get a feel for a school he's very interested in.
