Is the LSU game officially cancelled? Or just delayed? There is no reason not to move the location of the game and get it played. Or, play Sunday. And, the hurricane is way past any impact at Gainesville. And, I lived in South Florida during the 2005 active hurricane season so I know about hurricanes.
I disagree, based on the written rule saying "...of an 8 game conference schedule." I realize the sec is contradicting me, but they're just wrong. Otherwise, everyone should cancel games any time they can.
But wouldn't that be the best way to get screwed out of Atlanta? I mean, that is a real Butch Luck type of thing. Maybe there is fine print that says lost games count as a tie. Just don't lose tomorrow and make sure it doesn't happen.
This wouldn't be on butch, that's a broken league. Their rules say 8 games. Common sense is that not playing shouldn't help you, especially when there are ways to get the game played.
