The back story is even better, the whole town is a total mess. Our gripe was public utilities, when we moved there in 13 the city council was voted out which squashed housing and commercial expansion. So the public works palace they built had to be funded. When we left in 18 our water bill was $400 every two months.
I’d say sewage was the main driver. A lot of places are struggling with that and prices have skyrocketed.
I think sewage is 4 times the water rate, and they expect it to go way higher. The politicians want you to almost be able to drink the poop water before they put it back in the ground, they also want zero pharmaceuticals in the ground too.
Yeah, same here. The state permit guy was a dumbass though. Pay him 600 dollars for him to try and get me to put in two tanks and to pump my grey water up hill.
