    Mu Alpha Theta?

    I was too.

I was also in the Beta Club & some other Greek honors society in college. Can't remember what it was. Oh, I also graduated Magna Cum Laude.

    I know. It doesn't show.

I loved you in Johnny Be Good.

    Very underrated film, imho.

The Nashville Predators are easily fourth on my emotional rooting interest behind UT sports, ATL baseball and Titans football. However, the two Predators playoff games attended have been the most exciting and chaotic sporting events I have ever seen in person. NHL playoff hockey is something every sports fan should attend at least once. One time we were playing the Sharks at Bridgestone and we tied it up with just seconds left to send it to OT. I thought the roof of Bridgestone Arena was going to blow off. It was pure ecstasy for this sports fan.

I wasn't too disappointed with the Predators pick for new coach, which is a new feeling for me.

I know diddly squat on the finer details hockey, but I really liked his demeanor in the few YouTube videos I've seen of him. Seems like a no nonsense guy and his name is on the Stanley Cup. We have to start drafting/signing quality forwards again. Weber, Jones, and Rhinne can't do it all on their own. World class defenseman are useless if you can't score.

My take on Laviolette is that he's not a very good subordinate, in that he wears out his welcome fairly quickly with management, to where they can't wait to get rid of him.

No doubts at all about his coaching, but he wants his bosses to stay the hell out of his kitchen. Might be a pretty good fit.

I'm not too upset about who the Titans chose.
