Any school going that route is dumb as hell. Why expend funds for something any elite recruit in the country can get free on every college campus.
If UofL wants to be good at stuff, he'll stay. If they want to look good in front of media outlets, he's gone. Quick question: is Louisville better off 3 years from now having retained Pinto or fired him? I really don't think anybody in the country would answer fire him, especially the people who are calling for the school to fire him.
Sounds about right. I don't like him because he seems like a terrible human being, but I want him gone almost entirely because it would take an elite coach out of the ACC.
It's funny how, in the eyes of the Commonwealth, he became a terrible human being the moment he signed his contract with UofL. I mean, he was a pillar of integrity at UK. Oddly, the exact opposite happened to Calipari. That guy was dirty as hell at Memphis and UMass, but when he set foot in Fayette Co. all of his sins were washed away, and he has lived at the foot of the cross ever since.
He is a terrible human being. Except for his sycophants in the media and guys who worked for him, everyone in college basketball is loving the spectacle of that sanctimonious piece of shit being exposed as nothing more than Bruce Pearl in a better suit yet again.
Buying 17 year and 18 year old men crack whores ought to be some sort of double violation. Jeez, at least purchase the services of someone clean.
