From what I've heard, he is going to work 70+ hours a week 52 weeks a year. He expects at least that much from everyone else in the building.

If you can do it for a few years, you become the head coach of an SEC East school at $3 million a year.

I don't see chip Kelly as a guy needing to do that.

No, but look at McElwain, Muschamp, Dooley and Smart.

Uhhhh, I mean I guess, as long as you stay there.

Those guys weren't "damaged goods" before they got there, though.

A drunk just went from one game as college oc to oc of the nfc champions.

They weren't "goods", either. Maybe Muschamp, to some degree, but his stock took a big jump with Saban.

I just don't see Saban wanting a guy that has a solid shot of coaching in the same division in 2018 on his staff and getting familiar with his players for a year.

I could take Kelly with Saban for a year if it means we hire him after firing Butch next season...but yeah, neither of those things are happening.

I still see it more the other way around. Hard for me to believe a guy with Chip Kelly's resume who doesn't need to rehab his career would want to work for Nick Saban. Stranger things have happened I suppose

    I see it as both.

Neither one needs the other one.

The most damning thing about Stitch Jones is that he couldn't beat either of those two coaches head to head. In fact, Dooley beat the shit out of him. Have to love that TN commitment to winning.

Hell Muschump beat him handily with the worst Florida team in modern times, and they were doing everything they could to hand us the game.
