He's smarter than the average person. In terms of proving that as a fact, I suppose I cannot without a serious research grant.
I had two limited personal interactions with him his junior year. He isn't stupid, whatever you think of his radio show or format. There was nothing particularly profound or in depth about these interactions, but he came in to where I worked and interacted with staff including myself. I'm just saying he's plenty intelligent.

I met some folks in my time in Knoxville who were not intelligent. I also met some football players. None of the football players I met fit the dumb jock stereotype, and some were clearly pretty bright.
All this news about Pruitt not being an ass-kisser of anybody and just focusing on building a winning football team instead of a dynasty of Life Championships...it's making me tingle in the pants...
