    I remember watching some of those interviews about the election that were cited. I thought he was pretty impressive giving them then, and find him even more so having watched it that piece now.

    Rob Portman will not seek re-election in 2022. That’s certainly an pick up opportunity for Democrats now.

    I can't remember a midterms where I have less of a feel than this upcoming one in 2022. Usually, the first midterm in an administration is a tough one for the sitting president's party, but I'm not at all certain as to the direction of the Republicans right now and what the hangover from the Trump years of chaos will have on the Biden administration. Plus, is Trump out there making noise with his supporters? Who knows, at this point. The Senate elections look better for the Democrats in a normal cycle, considering which ones are up. 2024 will be very interesting with a bunch of Democratic seats up.
