Downtown is actually kind of enjoyable now. At the time I thought it was the dumbest thing I'd ever heard, but starting it all with Auto Zone Park was a brilliant move in hindsight.

And yes, 269 is a Godsend.

I don't recall specifically where the hotel was located, but it was nice with an easy drive to downtown Memphis. We stayed at a Hampton Inn that was practically brand new, and there were several hotels there that looked like they had not been open long. This was back in 2017. There was a lot of new development there.

 

It's definitely not a guaranteed win.

Was looking into some yards per play stats, and this is basically Mississippi State’s passing game with Florida’s running game (i.e. very bad). But also with Florida’s defense, which is more than a little scary. I still think they get us in a slugfest where they win the turnover battle and cash in on short fields.
