This made my eyes roll just like a recent New Yorker article that seriously suggested that we’d have been better off if cars had never become a part of American life.
Just in the interest of full transparency here - the vote was not in favor of allowing illegals to vote but rather was voting down a motion to send HR1 back to committee to add four new clauses. One of those was a clause saying that the House condemned the city of San Francisco for allowing illegal aliens to participate in school board elections (federal laws currently allow non-citizens to vote in municipal or state elections of those governing bodies want to allow it - however federal law prevents non-citizens from participating in federal elections and this motion had nothing to do with that). So unless the Mueller investigation was about Russian influence in San Francisco school board elections, the background on this meme seems disingenuous. Also note that the San Francisco law is aimed at non-citizens in general - not specifically illegal aliens. It is there because you have a lot of citizen students that are otherwise unrepresented in the school elections if the parents can’t vote in them, as we’ve debated the merits of before.
Dear lord, a southerner's dream. I bet when that hot sign gets turned on there are 4893903 cars around that shopping center.
I had a donut sandwich somewhere. May have even been a burger. I have no idea where or even what decade, but I can still taste it
