The dashed to the cadets and the cadets stormed the field. Was a great sight.

I have my eye on Monken as a HC. I know he's still inexperienced as a head coach, and that the Neyland connection is probably fogging my glasses, but I really love the offense of his. He's shown a bit of adaptability to it at GA Southern that I saw a glimpse of in the highlights from today's game.

I guess I'm just crazy but hey, he's undefeated vs Florida and Muschamp. Better than what we've got.

    That offense, here?

I'm pretty sure that's not his whole offense. GSU ran option for decades and it's almost necessitated at Army. I'm sure he could adapt his playbook to do more pro-style if needed. His brother is an OC for the Bucs. And he's already got the shotgun stuff in his arsenal from GSU.

A bit like Calhoun in that instance.

I'll take your word for it. All I've seen in my limited watching is flexbone option.

    Love the student body left/right.

Always nice to see a rivalry renewed.

I know him and think he can coach, but he isn't for UT. He's a Paul Johnson protege.

Yeah. Looks like he's been around that offense for twenty years. Sure he can adjust, but safe to say that is his wheelhouse.

BTW, happy for you. Was awesome to watch.

I watched it and didn't think it worth a warm bucket of piss.

its tough with a weak QB. We have a guy who is OK at best.

After watching the game with me yesterday, my wife is on board with making the trip up for the game next year. Assuming nothing comes up, I'll be checking this off the bucket list.

I've got to watch it at least once in person.

I'd love to go and see it. May have reason to do so next year.

May be a stupid question, but what is the meaning behind 'singing second?'

The loser sings their alma mater first. The winner then goes to their side of the stands and sings their alma mater. And the fact that both teams have to sing each other's alma maters is pretty cool.

For 14 of the last 15 years, Army had the same vexing question.
