3* TE formerly committed to Cincy.

Decent size and speed. Needs a redshirt year for sure but may not get it due to lack of depth.

 

If we land a JUCO he could potentially RS. Might depend on what they do with King as well.

 

I think King is an H-Back. That could change though.

 

Wasnt TE a top priority under Doofus from day 1?

 

Had to be with all those four TE sets he wanted to run.

 

I think that Jones gets a pass for recruiting this time around, but this sure sounds like filler to me.

 

I will point out that many called Rivera filler once upon a time.

 

I hope he's a filler like Rivera. Rivera was under-utilized during his time.

I think the kid could turn out to be ok. Probably not going to be a game changer, but I see no reason that he can not be a contributor in the future. Had offers from Nebraska and Mizzou and picked up interest in several other BCS schools since Jones left Cincy. TN could probably do worse for a filler.

Kid needs about 25-30 lbs if his weight is right on Rivals.

 

I think he's a decent prospect. Redshirt for sure though IMO as he has a long way to go from a weight and strength standpoint.
