The only answer I need is the following scenario:

You are a now a mod, and you get a notification stating that a user would like to join. Do you:

1. Approve them. Someone else can worry about what or who they actually are.
2. Deny them. If they're serious, they'll come back, using a different email address and username.
3. Ignore them. Ignorance is bliss. If they never know they were approved or not, it won't matter. They can always come back, and create a new account, if they are serious.
4. Read the username, look at the email address, and then decide.
5. Do nothing. fl0at_ will get it.
