Official 2018 8th Maxim Fantasy Football League Thread

I like the 9 spot a lot of years. Like 3 or 4 as well.

 

Defense always kills me in this league. One day I'll figure it out

 

I feel like by week 3 in these I almost always have at least one season ending injury.

 

Sounds like a fantasy strength and conditioning issue.

I find imagining my players chugging pickle juice helps.

 

Whose pickle are they chugging in these fantasies of yours?

That was an insane score.

I almost stole one this week but Abdullah broke that 25+ yd run late in the 4th to seal my loss.

 

Didn't break the league record of 194.36 by Red Dogs from last year.

 

Needed a little less than 5 points from OBJ last night to win my game.

Gave me 3.6..

0-2 land here I come.

 

Should have, my projected score prior to Monday night was over 200. I'll take it.

Are you serious? I'll be lucky to make the play-offs. Yahoo says I am to finish 8th.

 

They gave me the lowest grade. I don't think their algorithm holds up

 

I agree, there is a considerable amount of luck involved. Injuries, off games, and who you pick off the waiver list are all factors. In another league, I went into Monday night 19 points up with no more players. My opponent had O.Beckman and Golden Tate projected for a total of 34 points, but they only managed to earn 15 points total giving me the win. Nothing I did or could do had anything to do with the outcome, purely luck.

 

Ya, there are teams I would straight up trade for that I "beat." And vice versa.

 

Week 4 and already there are no undefeated teams remaining.
