it's a bad matchup for ucla given ucla's strengths and weaknesses and known sucking on the road under mora. If these lose that game look out below for the rest of the season. I don't know why outside of the high end talent there, but I favor them being good more than falling apart though.

 

A&M has flirted with the edge recently to the point Sumlin is under fire. That typically results in a resurgence or a blow up. They have great players but they also play in the SEC west where you can be decent and still lose every game.

Be interesting to see where they go. Early success is not necessarily a great gauge for that group either.

 

yup. their best players are finally upperclassmen and this generally leads to a good year. and the sec west shouldn't be as good as normal this year. not sure what to think about lsu. ole miss seems due for a shit year. not a believer in freeze.

8-10 wins doesn't seem outrageous with this schedule to me.

If they stay healthy at certain spots there is no reason why they shouldn't be.

I think they now have a great DC to go with great talent.

 

sumlin SHOULD be fired if he does that with this schedule.

 

should be interesting to see if dobbs can develop into a legit pocket passer.

 

I would happily settle for him being able to hit a moving target.

ha. he'll never be a future NFL QB, but his arm isn't terrible, it's really the accuracy and it's possible to at least improve that over time.

 

Well a big part of the problem is Butch. I don't give a damn how inaccurate he is, our running game will get WR's single coverage, throw the damn ball downfield. Our receivers are talented, just throwing 50/50 balls is fine.

 

Yep, the passing game in particular. I don't think we have as much to worry about running the ball.
