I have heard some credible chatter that Cam Akers passed up about 200K to head to Ole Miss. No telling what he got from FSU, but the loom of sanctions had to balance any difference in cash.

I wonder if this is what was reported (Brice, IIRC?) a couple of days after he committed to FSU, when they said that his recruitment had become "too messy" for Tennessee?
