Odds that Orgeron has just rented an apartment in State College for the foreseeable future?

 

Isn't redd from Connecticut? Is Michigan really considered closer than us?

 

Allow me to feed the orange dog for a moment, despite it's flatulence:

IF Dooley can pull anyone of any worth at all (even depth), I will be impressed. Given the circumstances.

 

I'm not too worried about OSU. I don't see him leaving a sanctioned team that can't play in a bowl for another sanctioned team that can't play in a bowl. The others, however, do worry me.

 

Would be a little ****ed up for him to go to Michigan or Ohio State. No need for him throw salt in the wound by running it down the throat of Penn State's depleted roster for the next two years. Better for him to come to Knoxville and help us avenge Kentucky.

 

That's pretty much my take. I am not necessarily expecting him to get a stud, but if we could snag a player or two on the defensive side of the ball just to give some depth I would be very pleased.

 

Yea, he's from there but I think Justin was referring to PSU. I think he stays put. PSUs schedule is awful this year and they should go 9-3. He'll come out next year anyways. Unless he wants to compete for a national championship, I don't see him leaving.

 

I kind of agree tripper. I think the attrition will mainly be on the recruiting side rather than the current roster.

Anyway, he says we've contacted TE Brent Wilkerson and are trying to get him to come on an official visit. We've also called and offered Silas Redd (duh), LB Khairi Fortt, and LB Gerald Hodges, allegedly.

 

And the twitterverse says Silas Redd is staying put this season, then going pro.

 

We recruited Khairi Fortt pretty hard, as I recall.

Why would anyone on that team want to go to a Big Ten school other than Penn State? I hope our players hate our rivals within our conference enough to never consider suiting up for them.
