I'm not big on the title of this article (being compared to the greatness of Bama) but do enjoy reading the positivity about our young players. That's a pretty bold statement... John Adams: Maggitt, Johnson Alabama-like linebackers ยป GoVolsXtra
AJ is a fantastic LB and Maggitt is going to be used to do all kinds of things by Sal. I'm excited about the LB corps as long as they stay healthy.
will be the first time in ages that we have a competitive front 7. We might actually contain wide this year.
I think we have the ideal players for what Sal is wanting to do. I just hope it's effective immediately and doesn't take 4-5 games to break in.
Yeah it is. I took Bynum for granted, he's looked pretty good so far but rolling out freshmen in the two deep is scary
Oh hey, speak of the devil. At least this is our deepest position, so injuring some of our depth isn't a problem.
What has happened to this board??????? Who are you guys and what did you do with the regular posters???? I'm smelling sunshine up in here!
This has ****ed me off for years. No excuse to have the pitiful contain we have had. It comes down to playing with discipline to set the edge.

That certainly speaks to not only his physical abilities but also to his intellectual ability as well. Love it
Could be a few things, he's got a kid (or one on the way) back home and he didn't really adjust well to Knoxville at all. He was also banged up and probably wasn't going to to live when they were at Milligan.
