Practice Updates

JG will be too good to keep off the field next year. I think he's a complete game changer. His game against IMG last season was pretty incredible

 

Yesterday's practice update:

Drew Richmond at LT and Brett Kendrick at RT

Emmanuel Moseley and Justin Martin are pushing each other to another level.

Shy Tuttle continues to do more and more work. He's getting closer to 100%.

Gaulden worked exclusively with CB's. He's competing for starting spot at NB.

The 3 freshman OL continue to impress the coaches and they feel really good about them.

2,287yds, 20td 8int. Not too shabby.

But he doesn't have Chaney this year.

 

But he should have a healthy James Connor, which makes his job easy

 

Joey Mathews was Unitas compared to Peterman

 

He was probably holding the top spot in my mind pre-2005. We've seen some really crappy QB play since then. I don't think anyone can top Peterman's ineptitude. He looked like an unathletic, drunk European that had never heard of American football prior to being inserted into the game.

 

Butch would avoid playing Guarantano until after we'd lost against the SEC rivals that normally destroy us. Then he'd burn the redshirt so he could come in and help us beat Vandy 42-0 instead of 31-0.

As a dolphins fan, it actually is painful. But at least we were winning Super Bowls back in those days. Hell, making the playoffs.
