Feeling good about this game. Not sure why but I am.

 

There is an opportunity to turn a corner as a program by winning the next 3 games.

 

For Jay:

I say we take it one game at a time, focus on the job in front of us and not get caught up in the media hype around this game, much less the next three.

 

31-24 UGA wins.

I don't what I would do if we were heading to Oxford sitting at 5-1.

I would really start to worry, because I said at the beginning of the year that if CBJ went 9-3 I would get his picture tattooed on my forehead...

We also have a strong argument at this time for being the best defense they'll have faced thus far.

 

True. It is in some landfill in south florida somewhere, so I would be pretty safe.

 

It will help immensely in recruiting as well

 

There is a general SEC blog (which is generally not that great--skewed towards Florida and South Carolina, which are the teams of the two main writers) that previewed this game and flatly stated that UT had the best defense in the East. I was kinda taken aback, but they might be right.

 

We'll know for sure after the next two games.
