I think we win. They might huck it around the yard on us a bit, but I don’t think they can stop our run game, and their secondary is subpar at best.

That being said, moved to Nashville back in December for work, and this will be my first football season in the bar. Looking for the best bar atmosphere to watch a game with likeminded Vol faithful. I’m in the Nashboro Village area, but will move mountains to avoid watching a game at BWW. Don’t know if this is discussed somewhere in another thread, any tips on good spots would be appreciated!

 

I'm not big on watching Vols games out, but I'd probably try somewhere like Double Dogs.

IIRC you can hook up speakers to listen to game. I could be making that up though.

 

After last season, I am not confident enough in our offense--even against a crappy defense--to expect us to win a shootout. And I don't have confidence in our secondary to hold them into the low 20s. It's all a matter of how long it will take to actually teach our guys to play football. The talent is there, but I don't know if you fix lack of coaching in one offseason. It might be until October before we start seeing the turnaround.

At any rate, I am still super excited for it. Albeit less excited because one of my wife's best friends is getting married that afternoon, and I will be helping shepherd a toddler and a newborn to a wedding while every single other member of my family is in Charlotte at the game. Thank you DVR, and sorry but my phone will be off that day.
