Property Rights vs. USDA Crop Seizures

Idk, man... The few farmers I know work harder than anybody I have ever seen and are pretty self reliant. The way the government has rigged the system is more at fault than individual farmers are for the current way things are. I won't even get into the Monsanto stranglehold....

 

I don't see many farmers calling for an end of subsidies

 

There's a growing movement in small farmers that are fighting the handouts and regulations that favor large corporate farms. Farm to consumer legal defense fund does a really good job with it

 

You're in California though, right?

 

Yes, but the strong farm lobby isn't from California

 

Well hopefully they can get a tad more publicity and money because I haven't seen it.

 

They'll never get any real play because they don't fit into the narrative. Their only hope is for John Mellencamp or Wille Nelson to get involved again....
