Just playing the percentages, he would flop. Now, if he were to be successful, Tennessee would be media darlings, former national championship qb coming home to save the program with his old coach as AD, it would be too good to be true
Y’all acting like we would make a decent hire otherwise. I’d rather ride with Tee than Jeeves Googleberry.
Im just glad Osevet brought his vast knowledge of RPO to our program. Not. Add in more offensive plays defenses dont have to worry about.
[uck fay] all to Tee and Jeeves Googleberry. Bring me a coach that has decisively won something at the FCS level as a head coach or shut the thing down.
My only problem with Tee is if he sucks, he's damn near unfireable. I will get no joy showing he sucks at his job. I would love for him to be great
If he is destroying everyone, sure. I just don't want another project, diamond in the rough, on the cheap coach. Give me the Urban Myer at Utah.
OK. Is FBS div 1 or div1aa? I cannot keep these things straight in my head. I thought FCS was div 1. [uck fay] IT. Give me a coach that has outright won championships at his level he is playing at and has punched above his weight. I am tired of grabbing someone and hoping he works out.
Tennessee will go after Sarkisian, who immediately falls off the wagon or Tony Elliott, who proves he's not Dabo or Mike Yurcich because they are tired of Gundy using them for a raise.
Rather go for somebody like Healy than those dudes for sure although they make sense to some extent because we also tend to hire the opposite of what we just had since they’re offensive guys
We’re not hiring away a P5 champion coach. Tom Herman, Justin Fuente, and Willie Taggert have probably been the biggest names at the G5 level in recent years.
Fuente and Taggart sucked and Herman isn't anything special. I would have put a lot of money on Taggart being really damn good, too.
Hubbs & Co have certainly been much more aggressive the last few days. https://tennessee.rivals.com/news/turn-them-loose-1
I've said it before, I don't think you can truly judge Taggart on his stint at that hell hole down in Tallahassee.
Hubbs wouldn't beat the gong on Dooley or Butch, but they aren't giving Pruitt any slack. I'm assuming that means he's all but gone
