    My freshman year my roommate and I had tickets to see him in Montgomery. Something came up and we didn't go. I knew we would regret not making it.

    One of the very few guitarists that could be identified immediately by non music lovers within the first three note of a song. Truly distinctive voice on an instrument that has always been hard to set yourself apart from the zillions of other players on...

    I cover many of his hit songs, and this morning I got a call from a band leader I know who had a gig tonight. He had me come and we made one set a tribute to BB King. I think I did the best on "The Thrill Is Gone".

    This is my tribute to the man. Done another time.
