Well I just figured out what I need to do with my life.

 

Kirkland, Richmond, McKenzie. Just an educated guess.

Butch said any suspensions will be announced at the appropriate time. You don't say that unless suspensions are coming.

 

"We'll announce any suspensions on Tuesday morning, September 5th. Tune in then."

Someone on one of the recruiting forum sites says theyre hearing no suspensions for the GA Tech game and Callahan said he had heard the same.

Guess we'll see how it plays out. Larry wrong again if so.

That would be great news. I think Botch finally realizes he is coaching for his job so he needs all the pieces possible as excuses are likely not going to cut it. Losing players is not going to be a built in excuse.

 

the supposed players that have been mentioned have been getting first team snaps daily. It would be surprising for a coaching staff to give those reps to players that won't be playing.

Perhaps Jones isn't the final say in who plays or doesn't play as a result of these rumored events.

I am certain that he wants them to play, and is strongly pushing to allow them to play (hence, their snaps with the 1's)....but he may not be the final say in these things. Again, that is if there's even any truth to them.

 

Honestly, I might feel better if a couple of them weren't with the 1's anyway. Not off the team, just not starters. I just don't think we are going to put our best lineup out there.

We did late a couple of years ago when injuries forced some guys out.

 

Chance Hall and Jack Jones played pretty well as freshman against Bama and UGA.

Supposedly Kendrick is being worked at LT some now. One would think his presence at RT would now be more important with Chance Hall going down. So, I don't know if it's related to us possibly losing an LT for a while or not, but thought I'd share.

 

It could be linked, but best 5 need to play and Richmond isn't one of the best 5, imo. Hope he proves me wrong and has a great year. I like Tatum.
