I hope he is, and thankfully he'll have the rest of the season to prove otherwise. Plus, I don't see a viable option coming out this year or next who strikes me as "Franchise QB" material. This team is a disaster, with spots to fill all over the place...it would beyond lucky for us to have struck gold in the sixth round with even a game-managing QB.

But then...I think the Titans exhausted at least a decade's worth of luck with the Music City Miracle.

 

Probably less this year. Hell, by the time he's a senior Dobbs will be throwing better than Mariota

 

More and more people are getting off the Mariota wagon

 

I've seen a couple games where he really impressed me throwing the ball, but that seems to be the exception, not the rule

I still think he's the best prospect out there, but he does seem to be one of these guys who can't play through pain and also gets injured easily. Not a great combo
