I didn't think someone with that much rep could get shingles.

 

That sucks. I had them last year on my chest under my right *** and it wrapped to my back. Her really bad.

Get a script for valtrex and some pain killer that numbs your nerve endings.

Really sucked. Hope it's not in a bad spot for you. Did you have bad case of chicken pox? I did and my doc said that's usually the case with shingles.

Try two or three beers and a couple Sommas, you will not know you have them for a few hours.

 

They suck so bad. But you'll get pain pills.

 

When I was a young lad I went house hunting with my parents. We ate shingles for a month. Hope you get some relief.

 

I got Vicodins (renn renn).

I'm saving them though. Right now Ibuprofen has been my best friend. They last exactly 4 hours. I hope I'm not rotting my liver.

I got em in the same spot as USAF except on my left side. When the IBs wear off I can feel the pain shoot up and down my nerve. I'm about 8 days into it right now. Doc said he really can't do much after the first 72 hours.

Can you get them again?

 

My MIL has had them multiple times.

 

Yeah, I was thinking about getting a shingles shot, though.

 

Heard you had to be older than a 1950 model. I was made in 1980.

If I get it again I will know it's coming and then I'm getting the shot no matter what.

 

We were made around the same time. I didn't think there was an age requirement, but I'm not sure.

 

I didn't think you could get shingles twice, but I have no idea where I came up with that notion so it is probably false.

 

Maybe because Shingles is a reactivation of the virus that causes chickenpox, and you can only get chickenpox once.

So, it wasn't an unreasonable inference to draw, but I do think it is false.
