And watching the last couple of games (particularly USCjr), I have noticed a LOT of LBs/Safeties at the end of the game going down like crumpled up newspaper. Is that just Hurd beating the shit out of them?

Obviously, there's a little hyperbole in there but, you have to admit, dude has some moves for a guy that big.

 

I swear they had a guy injured on every play. I was definitely wondering at one point whether they were tired and faking injuries to get some rest.

 

Hurd had at least two good moves during this run.

I liked the spin/hurdle move, or whatever you'd call it.

So he ran a 20-yard route and had five guys between him and the end zone when he caught it (the guy covering him, the guy covering Von, and three safeties).

No wonder they let us march all the way down the field like it was nothing

Yep. I kind of wonder if they were slow on the whistle, so perhaps the UT player didn't think he was ruled down yet... Ya, I'm a homer.

 

More likely the guy had been crying all game and the refs decided to conveniently be looking the other way.
