To summarize -

We make a lot of money off football and don't spend a lot on football. We divvy it out everywhere else.

Bama, on the other hand, makes a lot of money on football and also spends a lot of money on football.

 

And this explains why they celebrate NC rings and we celebrate Tax Slayer rings

 

It's part of the equation. They're spending the money on the right guy.

I was very surprised to see this.

 

My mom's husband asked me why I wasn't happy with Butch giving us an 8-4 season yesterday. The ensuing rant I went on will go down in the annals of Christmas history.

If he can't take advantage of the weak East, then he will never win anything other than the occasional bowl game

He may win a bowl game every year if he keeps getting favorable bowl draws
