Tradition is big... what some in the media are calling our 'brand'. Great facilities and lots of $$$ thanks to the TV deal and a dedicated fan base. You could say that our stock was as high as it gets when we hired Kiffin. I also think most people understand that we were in a bind when Kiffin left. I think a competent coach could win the East as soon as next year. Tennessee isn't as talent deprived as some thing and the East still sucks.
Compared to when Dooley took over, we have a better roster, no NCAA worries, and Urban Meyer is now in the Big 10. Three big pluses IMO.
