Once the new facility is complete, if UT doesn't finish in the top 10 in recruiting every year it should be grounds for immediate termination.

Tennessee has no talent Lex! How do you expect a school that has recruited well nationally since the [uck fay]ing 1930's to do it today with an unlimited budget and brand new facilities?

What's the ratio of Schrute Bucks to Stanley Nickels?
The same as unicorns to leprechauns.

Get out-coached multiple times in two years in winnable games, blaming sorry players is a legitimate excuse to fanbase

The SEC East sucks right now. Come in, get to work, set up dominance, easy path to Atlanta.

My brother had an interesting idea. Forget a search, and just run an add:

"Tennessee looking to fill position of highest paid football coach in the NCAA. Please send resume to Dave Hart."

Tradition is big... what some in the media are calling our 'brand'. Great facilities and lots of $$$ thanks to the TV deal and a dedicated fan base.

You could say that our stock was as high as it gets when we hired Kiffin. I also think most people understand that we were in a bind when Kiffin left. Maybe we could have landed the big fish if we had thrown the kitchen sink at a Petersen, etc.? I don't think we offered the dump truck of money that Clay Travis is now suggesting....

If we let this drag out, is our 'brand' being diminished? I think it is.

I think a competent coach could win the East as soon as next year. Tennessee isn't as talent deprived as some thing and the East still sucks.

Compared to when Dooley took over, we have a better roster, no NCAA worries, and Urban Meyer is now in the Big 10. Three big pluses IMO.

If Dooley is kept another year, we can add 'gives coaches more time than they deserve' to the list.

Coeds will [uck fay] and snort coke with you in a BMW that a booster just gives you.
To be honest, I'm shocked Meyer didn't make a push for the job.

I'm not sure that particular fact separates us from any other school.
