She's hiring Gilbert.

 

I think she's a fairly good person. I have a friend (old college professor) who is close to her and her family. I'm a bit surprised she has a backbone though.

 

Maybe. Just saw a few comments that she was going to make her own decision. I’m not connected. Just discussing

 

If she had no backbone, she wouldn't rise to that level. I mean think about it, academia is snipey passive aggressive pit of vipers.

Whoever they hire as AD isn’t getting much say in this HC hire. The two just have to be able to work well together when the time comes.

 

I think we can do worse....but it does feel like a retread when you look at all the narratives out there right now. Kind of a lazy choice.

 

ECU football is awful for a state with a lot of in-state and surrounding talent.

 

I am just going to ride with Ingram. We hired a search firm so DP isn’t going to just hire Gilbert because it’s suggested. Maybe she comes back to him but I am going to be hopeful.
