Oh no doubt. I think it delays the disaster, but also potentially makes the fall of the program a blip on one coach a la Muschamp at Florida than what it has been.

It was going to crash at some point. But agree, maybe a one coach debacle instead of 3.

Tennessee is way too involved in that series of articles.

Oh, and leaving out the part about Currie texting Wolken for help was negligence. If you're going to take a sideswipe at Brady Hoke's texting skills, be a man and woman about it and include that part of the story.

I don’t think he’s being especially unfair—we’re a pretty jumpy fanbase prone to taking everything too far.

If 80,000 fans threw trash, the entire field would be covered. Taking the actions of maybe - maybe - a few hundred to write that article.

yeah… defending Wolken by saying he is harassed by TN fans when Wolken continually tries to bait TN fans was the kicker for me

Getting right down to the truth would have taken more effort and a deeper dive, but I’ve never doubted him in that regard so I guess he doesn’t have the grasp on things that I thought he did.

He said it would affect our ability to get coaches and admin.
Don't recall such words when real shit like pedo st or the multiple rapist team drs, wifebeating coaches, etc happen and have no longterm affect. But whoa, mainly under 25 hammered college students threw shit, so coaches and admin will stay away. Talk about fans being emotional, yet have an emotional take...

It’ll affect our ability to attract panty waste losers, the likes of which often become sports writers.

It's already failed, now it's just up to them to figure out how long they want to continue to lose money.
