This morning, he was suggesting the NFL adopt a player numbering system to help clear up who is an eligible receiver or not. I'm not sure why I flipped them on, maybe morbid curiosity. I also hope that I just misunderstood.
Tony B, and a bunch of callers were on his case yesterday about how he basically said what Donnie T did at Southern Miss is like a felony
Listen to the second segment of Basilio's show from yesterday. Tony flat calls him out for not only being a KY fan (which he absolutely is), and for actively trying to railroad the men's program, in general, and Tyndall, specifically. I've got bad news for him: the only way that the Lady Vols can regain their top-water mark of even marginal relevance is if someone invents a time machine that goes back 20 years.
They are now in the Post-Wooden UCLA years. They better get used to it. UCONN will be in the same boat when Gino retires. It is just the nature of the beast. And I love the Lady Vols, have enjoyed watching them from time to time over the years. But I am also a realist and know that Summit WAS women's basketball and you can never, ever, ever get that back.
I just went CM Punk on Dearstone and Jacoby on Tony's show. Guess I won't be getting that call from Cumulus anytime soon.
