Probably comes down to the individual case yeah, I’m not arguing right or wrong but now I see the reasons. Rubio is pretty level headed and he was not happy about it, which is a little telling. Once again though having to wade through the bullshit article headlines(which most were a carbon copy) proved difficult.

I'm going to have to weigh these accusations of "antisemitism" issued to various university protests with the remarks by Trump today that Chuck Schumer "wasn't Jewish anymore" and saying, pejoratively, "he's a Palestinian". What does that even mean?

It means we are in trouble.

I do. Then again I haven’t supported terrorists and lead violent protests which put students in fear for their lives due to their religious beliefs.

I have to wonder if we have antisemitism here as all I’ve heard is about the poor innocent protestor and his green card and nary one comment from his supporters about what the Jewish students have had to deal with. Not one condemnation from the left on here. Only “the building had been taken over before. Windows were broken before. 1st amendment!”
    Wonder why that is…

I wonder if we have anti-constitutionalists who hate the foundational rights that define us as a nation. I've posted against anti-semitism many times, coming from the left and right. I've been to more brisses than you'd think, too. This isn't about agreeing with this guy, it is about principles. As usual, I am taking a position that the ends cannot justify the means because the means inevitably define the ends. As usual, you argue that the ends can and does justify any means.

Wild to paint this over and over as the mean anti-semitic protestors targeting the poor Jewish students, when many of the protestors are themselves Jewish and the pro-Israel crowd arguing with them was doing things like shooting fireworks into the encampment

These Jews must be anti-themselves, or something

Antisemitism exists and more proof here. Yet to say anything about the students in hiding but supporting mask wearing “Jews” holding signs and have zero idea if they are or not.
    Take off the masks, cowards.

Right, the unseen students in hiding are the real Jews and the Jews protesting aren't real Jews because that's inconvenient for the talking point. Jewish Voice for Peace is a real organization made up of real Jews, they just don't support Israel killing tens of thousands of civilians

How would them not being masked prove they are jewish to you?

how do you know they are Jewish? There have been interviews with protestors who had no idea what they were protesting and just came for the fun. You have no idea if they are or not.
And wearing a mask just shows they are cowards. Their faces would be recognized if not but cowards want to hide.

don’t call yourselves a voice of peace while calling a cop a pig. More common sense shit that you can’t grasp.

Kind of odd he saw “[uck fay] fascism” and thought these people can’t be real Jews.

Lol, I asked first. You seem to know they are not. I take people's self-ID at face value. You have exactly the same amount of info I do.

Wearing a mask makes sense when you are being kicked out of school or prosecuted for protesting.

I'm not sure i would call them a voice for peace in a way I would define peace. I don't think that is relevant to free speech.

Where did the free speech absolutists go? Only have that energy for private companies but not actual governments?
