Any kaykers in here? If so, any good rivers around your parts? I've got an Old Town Vapor, nothing fancy and go when I can. I only got out a couple of times this past summer. I last went on the Little River in Maryville with some K-town buddies but usually go around Middle Tennessee.
I'm don't claim to be a "canoer," but I got the opportunity to canoe down the Colorado River in Western Colorado into Utah in August. It was spectacular.
the russian river canoe trip is a great trip. canoe during the day, bring a cooler of beer, go wine tasting, and get a dui on your way home.
