I'm bullish this is a team that can win 90+ games.
Maybe.... I’m still not convinced that Edman isn’t a part time utility player, TON isn’t a look like Tarzan play like Jane, and not sure what kind of starting pitching they’re gonna get.
but I do know this day off after opening day is so stupid
I don’t think it’s going to take 90 wins to clinch the Central.
85 may win the division.
Remember when there were like 3 100 win teams in that division just a few years ago?
I’m ready to go out on a limb now and say the Cardinals won the Arenado trade
That HR was mashed
One of those that feels like it should have gone a whole lot farther than it did.
That Carlson grand slam in Miami was a bomb. That park was eating fly balls up all series.
I like judging from the sound of the bat. The one last night sounded like a cannon.
This team has about 5 major league hitters
Yadi catching game number 2,000 today
Burn it down
Finally a comment in the Cardinals thread that I can like.
I don’t think it’s a “Damn it, Astros” type scenario from a few years ago but Bill DeWitt needs to clean out the front office or sell. Trade Goldschmidt and Flaherty, hire a decent front office and a few smart moves and they’re in ok shape.
The NL Central is absolutely atrocious right now.
typo here, I meant LOSE, not win.
Had anyone ever won a division while playing sub .500 ball? Both central divisions are pushing that right now.
That's why I cannot fully write off winning the division. This is the worst team St. Louis has fielded since 1990 and they are only 8.5 back. It's absurd.
