I think there’s more to it than “chose basketball.” Volleyball not available where a lot of basketball players come from. It chose them. Some Cali kids and beach players would take the athlete challenge. Their cardio is sick too.
Brodus (sp?) is still my favorite "frat boy" college sport story. I was there. It was cool. Thank gawd it was MTSU or the usual Homecoming foe. https://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaa...t-second-kicker-off-frat-house-002004442.html Disclaimer: Some might argue it is the "butt chugging" event.
Yeah, I think alot is what you grew up playing/enjoying. My brother's wife and her sisters loved volleyball. They preferred beach volleyball, because the Va. Beach sand was a softer platform than the gym hardwood. If you have potential, some are directed one way or the other, based on "you are good enough to make money if you play x."
It's very weird; every in-game highlight I feel like I've seen from Reese, she may get like 3" off the floor. But ran across this, and she actually has some bunnies. She apparently just loses them come game time.
Because that's the height of the railing the basket was hung from at the YMCA when it was invented. And everyone since has just been like, "[uck fay] it, good enough"
yeah that’s not bad. She has no ability to go up like that with a ball in a game which is kinda crazy and her one footed layups kinda look like she should be on special Olympics, though we did put up 40 in a 20 minute game last week
Brodus >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>butt chugging At least for people who worked in bammer with bammers and had to listen to you can't spell butt chugging without UT ad nauseam for a while.
I can imagine. The bammers I know over here, know better than to give me a reason to go down the stupid list with them. I just reminded the bammers over hear that at least we did not shoot each other after a loss or pass our guns in a hat or a bammer was in charge when we got caught cheating or... You get the picture. We both agree that Mark Richt has lost control of Kirby Smart.
This still a problem with the women's college game? I don't watch, so maybe this is an anomaly, but I feel like one of their biggest challenges has always been parity. 2 seeds should not be beating 7 seeds by 40 in tournament games.
Clicked on the video of the Clark foul on Reese and now my FB feed is nothing but Clark/Reese memes and honestly it’s kind of hilarious. While I still don’t care about 99.99% of the WNBA, this entire “rivalry” is hilarious (in a good way). Can’t wait until 28 when they are forced to be teammates for the Olympics.
She’s already the goat hooper of women imo. And that flailing flop by Reese may have just been her being the most uncoordinated player in the league.
I laughed. Edit: not sure why it won’t post the tweet. It’s the Centel one about Reese commenting about MJ on Bron’s IG post.
She's not better than A'ja Wilson who is playing right now. This is like saying Victor Wembanyama is the GOAT haha
Wilson is a great player. I just haven’t seen a player like Clark before with the deep 3s and passing ability along with athleticism. There have been players like Wilson before. No other players though could pull up a step back from 25 then next time fake it and throw a one handed dime back door pass as defenders ball watch. Saw something the other day where she reached a milestone at around 60 games that took taurasi 500 games to accomplish. 20/10 or triple doubles or something. And no I don’t think saying Clark has the best skill set of other wnba players past and present is the same as saying Victor is the goat but if that’s how you want to take it go ahead.
