Agree droski; however, I fear we are not even getting started in seeing the long term effects.

 

no doubt about it. the exxon one had effects for decades.

 

The plus in the Gulf of Mexico is the life there is at least somewhat used to low levels of natural leakage.

 

Wonder why they don't know what caused the North Sea leak? That is a pretty disturbing non-answer.
