He got an interview but it sounded like Briles wanted to bring one of his guys with him. Pruitt doesn't want to do that.

That’s the conventional wisdom. Whether it’s accurate or even true... who knows. All I know is that until Briles is standing in front of a Garnet & Gold backdrop talking about “Making FSU Great Again”... I have to hope we still have a glimmer of hope that we can still hire him.

 

He's my first choice as well, which means it won't happen.

 

It’s a damn shame Tennessee has found themselves in this position. We’re an all time top program (at least we used to be...) and picked the worst possible time in history to start sucking.
