I heard an interesting take on transfers on Finebuam. Caller offered up that transfers should have the same buyouts that coaches have, if say Notre Dame wants a Vols player let them buyout their full scholarships. Thoughts?
I don't know the specific rules about scholarship limitations and transfers, but a transfer should affect each school in that way at least.
Why punish kids that went out of state or to private schools? Why value the athletic opportunity of a platform as being the same as the cost of tuition? Just my initial thoughts.
