Question 9: QB Edition Though 2,000 yard passing seasons are relatively common in today's college football they are quite rare historically. Who is the first Vol signal-caller to eclipse 2,000 yards passing in a season. Note: we are only talking about passing yards, not total yards.

I don't think Tony ever threw for 2000 in a season Card. In fact, I believe Francis was only the second to do it.
It's correct. He got there, but barely in 82. I think Robinson would have his 2K if you counted the bowl game in 84. I withdraw all protests.
