rumor I saw on another board was that last night was a big deal to ease tensions before Fulmer made a push for AD.
I'm starting to think that may be the case. Fulmer is the ultimate politician. He was when he was a coach. No doubt he is undermining Hart behind the scenes with his groupies. Question is, if Fulmer got the AD spot, would he cede the power that Gruden requests? Part of me thinks he will because at the end of the day Fulmer will beat his chest that he brought Gruden to UT and THEY turned it around.
When Alabama buries it balls deep against this team and shames them on national tv yet again, he will lose a few extra donors. Finding a way to lose to Kentucky after that would be the icing. Still, I'll believe Jones is gone when I see it. The schedule lines up for a 7-5 or 6-6 record and another bowl.
Talent supports another 4 or 5 wins. Team looks like they've quit though. 5-7 is optimistic. 4-8 is a real possibility.
I get that, but the coaching gap will be greater than the talent gap in many of those. Two sure wins left.
