Vols vs. Tide

Can't sleep so I figured I'd go ahead and get this going.

We lose. Alabama guards too quick and explosive for us and they shut us down with defense. Their center is useless but he still owns Stokes defensively. If neither team shoots well this favors Bama.

 

Anyone else going?

I'm thinking the winner of this game is dancing and the loser is headed to the NIT.

 

bama has to beat UF to be in.

 

Bama is not a tournament lock just by beating UT. Their resume is not impressive.

 

This game should not be enough to put Bama in the tournament.

Well my bad. In any case, I think we're out with a loss. If we win, is there any chance we get left out?

I honestly don't see how.

 

There might still be a way, but it becomes more and more of a stretch with every bubble team that loses. Probably a similar probability to us getting in with a loss.

 

Vols are the SEC's hottest team---winning 9 of 10 gms. Alabama had lost 3 of 4 before getting by GA. They've split the reg season series, both have premier defenses but AL does not have an answer for Stokes. We lmt TO's, hit FT's, and TG plays well Tennessee moves on. V,B
