I can't be certain, but how can we say Dobbs wouldn't be much, much better now if he was starting from day one?
Even if his parents asked for a RS; he is the HFC at the UofT. It is his job to field the best players to win Football games. If they had asked him to tuck their son in bed every night and give him a kiss on the forehead, would he have done that too?!?
He is on scholarship to play football. I'll bet Archie would have preferred Peyton redshirt, but we played him anyway. And he had a little brother that was also a stud, so we definitely didn't want to piss dad off.
And I would think Dobbs and family would be pissed if it were made public that mommy was asking Butch to protect her little boy. So not only did he not honor their request, he told everyone about it. Humiliating. Not buying it.
There is absolutely no way Dobbs was ever worse than Peterman. I'll never buy that line of bullshit the staff and their media lackeys were trying to sell. Never.
