    The connection between the statements "We're very wasteful" and "We should reproduce less" is an odd one. Maybe we could try being less wasteful first?

    I just think it's funny that in this thread people are talking about how we should reproduce less, but if you look at what the experts say about fertility rate in the Western world, you'll see words like "jaw-dropping," "remarkable decline," and "crisis," in reference to how few children we are having.

    You think it's easier and/or better to change people's decisions to not have children than to be less wasteful as a society? Tell me how you rationalize that.

    The second part is what IP said. Plus, there are plenty of eager migrants willing to come and absolve us of our repopulation issues-- which is normally met with a, "no, not like that though."
