Turned down my ass. Those boosters gave me the job, and I didn’t even really ask for it. Then all hell breaks loose because Auburn hasn’t had anything but a puppet AD since Nam and the puppet runs out and makes his own hire. What a clown show. Though I’m not sure this situation isn’t far worse. I’ll tell y’all this much though, we ain’t hiring any more Bammers and we ain’t getting caught neither. And I know where the bones are everywhere so nobody will make a fuss either.
I appreciate the frustration from the fan base. To be honest I want to retire to my beach house, so let’s set expectations here. IF they don’t hire a coach this year and it’s me, we’re going to put a competent product out there. Been a while since UT could claim that. We’ll rebuild the recruiting operation. I know nobody wants me, just let me do my job and hand it off to someone next year as close to a turnkey operation as possible instead of cat shit wrapped in dog shit dumpster fire it is right now. Jesus I know Baylor was bad and I [uck fay]ed up that WVU bowl game but I got a helluva lot of experience and I could outcoach your past three coaches from a damn nursing home. So godwilling if we have fans in the stands this fall just show up and get drunk yell like it’s 1985. This drought will be over soon enough.
